Thesis Presentation Application and Schedule for the 2024 Second Semester at Keimyung University

According to the Graduate School Announcement, the thesis presentation application and schedule for the 2024 second semester at Keimyung University are as follows:

  1. Eligibility:

    • Students in their fourth semester or higher (third semester for combined bachelor’s-master’s program) or graduates.
  2. Thesis Presentation Application Requirements:

    • Must have completed at least four semesters (three semesters for combined bachelor’s-master’s program) and obtained the required credits (36 credits for Ph.D., 24 credits for master’s) or be expected to obtain them.
    • Must have a GPA of 80 or above.
    • Must have a recommendation from both the thesis advisor and the department head.
    • Must have submitted a thesis research plan (for master’s students) and passed the presentation (for Ph.D. students).
    • Graduates must be registered for research in the relevant semester.
  3. Main Procedures and Schedule:

    • Thesis Presentation Application: October 7 (Mon) - October 18 (Fri), 2024.
    • Departmental Thesis Review: October 21 (Mon) - December 13 (Fri), 2024.
    • Thesis Presentation Withdrawal Application: October 21 (Mon) - December 13 (Fri), 2024.
    • Thesis Title Change Application: October 21 (Mon) - December 13 (Fri), 2024.
    • Research Ethics Course: December 2 (Mon) - December 13 (Fri), 2024.
    • Submission of Review Results: After the review until December 27 (Fri), 2024.
    • (Ph.D.) Ministry of Education Survey on New Ph.D. Holders: January 6 (Mon) - January 17 (Fri), 2025.
    • DCollection File Upload: January 6 (Mon) - January 17 (Fri), 2025.
  4. Other Important Notes:

    • Final thesis submission has been simplified to uploading the file to DCollection.
    • While the final thesis does not need to be submitted in physical form, one approval sheet must be submitted.
    • The printed copy of the thesis and approval sheet (with the signatures of the review committee) must be uploaded separately.
